Swansea City got their pre-season friendly campaign off to a winning start with a 2-0 victory over FC Gravenzande in Holland.

Ki Sung-Yueng netted his first goal since the joining the club as he tapped home from close range in the 39th minute after Nathan Dyer's effort hit the post.

Manager Michael Laudrup rang the changes at half-time, with new signing Jonjo Shelvey among those coming on.

Pablo Hernandez sealed a comfortable win with a goal eight minutes from time after being played in by Alejandro Pozuelo.

The Swans continue their Dutch tour with a game against Excelsior Maassluis on Sunday, when Michu could feature after being left out as a precaution against Gravenzande due to a tight quad.
