Shorey: We'll turn it around

The Baggies have enjoyed a fine season to date, but their recent results make for grim reading following three consecutive defeats. West Brom were expected to beat struggling Blackburn at The Hawthorns although a brace from Nikola Kalinic helped Rovers claim a 3-1 win. Although Shorey has been pleased with the club's displays, he is not happy that their domination of games is not reflected on the scoreboard. However, the former Aston Villa and Reading man is not dwelling on their poor run and is backing his team-mates to turn things around. "You can't keep on saying that we've dominated this game and we've dominated that game and we didn't win," he told the Birmingham Mail. "We can't say we've played good football and lost again because that's not good enough. "We know that and we know that it was a good opportunity to get a result so it's extremely disappointing. "We dominated the first half and obviously it was disappointing to get back and concede two set-pieces which has been our downfall. "The overall outfield game hasn't been bad but if you concede goals from set-pieces like that you're going to lose games. "I thought we were well in the game but we came out after the first half and conceded two from two corners. "We need to take responsibility. We've got good players and they're hurting at the moment but I'm sure we'll turn it around."
