Defender Ivan Estrada scored in the third minute of second-half injury time to lift Mexican club Santos to a 1-0 victory over U.S. side Columbus Crew in a Group B of the CONCACAF Champions League on Tuesday

Santos dominated the game and deserved the victory with Estrada, who came on as a substitute in the 70th minute, scoring from 16 meters (yards).

Columbus' Andy Iro found the net in the 21st minute, but Panama referee Luis Rodriquez disallowed the goal because of an illegal substitution by the Americans moments earlier.

Santos, which leads the Mexico Apertura tournament, also is atop Group B with six points from two matches. Columbus has three points from two matches.
