Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben is back running as he continues his recovery from the hamstring injury which has ruled him out so far this term.
The 26-year-old winger sustained the injury in Holland's final warm-up game before the World Cup in the summer although he recovered to play a part in South Africa.
Robben's club Bayern Munich did not attempt to hide their anger accusing the Dutch Football Association of misdiagnosing the injury.
In the absence of Robben and France international Franck Ribery, Bayern have made little impact on the Bundesliga this season and are currently ninth.
However, Robben has returned to Bayern's training ground where he has participated in running sessions and he is expected to be back in 2011.
Coach Louis van Gaal told AD Sportwereld: "Robben has returned to a positive outlook on the whole.
"We are at least working towards a time when Arjen can play again. "
