Ivo Pulga hopes Siena are not the team to shock him out of a wonderful dream as the Cagliari coach plots a fourth straight Serie A victory.
The former Rossoblu club captain was brought back to Sardinia in a bid to rectify a poor start to the season, but few will have expected the 48-year-old to secure three victories from his first three games in charge.
And with basement boys Siena next up at the Stadio Is Arenas on Wednesday, Pulga has reason to believe his remarkable start as head coach will continue.
He told the club's official website: "The dream goes on, and I hope I leave it to the last possible moment to wake up.
"Victories always give you a boost. To get three in a row has been unexpected but deserved.
"It may seem banal, but there is no better medicine than victories. They inspire you to train with even more enthusiasm.
"We hope that things continue like this and the group has demonstrated great spirit."
Pulga has not let his perfect record go to his head, though, and remains wary of the threat posed by Serse Cosmi's struggling Robur.
"They have tightened up their defence," he added.
"They don't give much space away and we will have to be patient, but aggressive, and look to make the most of every opening we create."
Defender Lorenzo Ariaudo and goalkeeper Vlada Avramov remain injury doubts for the hosts, with Pulga set to make a late call on the duo after training on Wednesday morning.
Cosmi will rest Alessandro Rosina, who has a muscle injury, after deciding to start the midfielder in Saturday's goalless draw against Palermo.
He told acsiena.it: "He hasn't fully recovered, and the discomfort is keeping him from playing at his best.
"We took a calculated risk playing him on Saturday, but now he has to get back in good condition."
The Robur are without a win in four outings and Cosmi wants to arrest that alarming trend - and end Pulga's hot streak - in the Sardinian capital.
"We need to improve on our performance against Palermo, but we are starting to show some positive signs, like solidity in defence," he added.
"We will come up against a team that is in great form and great shape. We will have to improve to get a result."
