Potters boss bemoans postponement
The Cottagers were due to visit the Britannia Stadium in the Premier League this midweek but the Londoners' European commitments have seen it put back to January 5. That means that, with trips to Aston Villa and Manchester City to come, by Boxing Day Stoke will have played just one game at home in a run of five. Pulis told the club's official website: "The fact that the Fulham game has had to be moved has made it a tough period for us. "Had we played them this week, it would have broken up that run of away fixtures and given us a much better chance to put some more points on the board before Christmas. "If we can get something out of the next two games, then we will look on things in a different light because we then have four home matches out of five."
