Radamel Falcao scored a goal in each half as FC Porto beat Beira Mar 3-0 on Sunday to join Nacional atop the Portuguese league standings after two rounds.
Falcao opened in the 26th minute at the Dragon stadium before Fernando Belluschi doubled the advantage just before halftime. The Colombia striker completed his double in the 81st.
Porto and Nacional share six points, while Braga leads a group of four teams with four points.
Sporting Lisbon regained some needed confidence following its midweek Europa League defeat with a 1-0 win over Maritimo.

Matias scored in the 89th minute of an ill-tempered affair that featured nine yellow cards.
Also, Naval beat Portimonense 1-0 and Leiria and Pacos Ferreira played to a scoreless draw.
