Paraguay's top forwards Roque Santa Cruz and Lucas Barrios have been selected in the squad for friendlies next month against Japan and China.
Coach Gerardo Martino named the team on Tuesday for a match in Yokohama, Japan, on Sept. 4 and another in Nanjing, China, on Sept. 7.
Martino did not call up forward Nelson Haedo Valdez and midfielder Cristian Riveros, who were members of the World Cup team which reached the quarterfinals in South Africa before being ousted by eventual champion Spain.
