Orient dealt Jones injury blow

Leyton Orient goalkeeper Jamie Jones is set to be sidelined for four to six weeks with a recurrence of his shoulder injury.

The 23-year-old had surgery on the problem last year and successfully made a return to the first team late last season. However, he suffered a setback in last week's Capital One Cup defeat at Everton and faces another stint on the sidelines.

Orient boss Russell Slade told the club's official website: "The short-term news is not good in that he is likely to be out for a minimum for four weeks, and that's more likely to be six perhaps.

"We'll have to review it then and it's a difficult time for him. It was a serious shoulder injury he had, and the specialist and medical department are making decisions on which way to go right now."
