Charles N'Zogbia insists he was happy to stay at Wigan and is fully focused on helping the Latics survive in the Premier League.
The highly-rated winger was linked with Birmingham and a return to Newcastle during the transfer window, but N'Zogbia feels he still has big role to play for Wigan as they battle relegation.
And the 24-year-old hopes he can catch the eye of France boss Laurent Blanc if he performs well in the remaining games.
When asked about transfer speculation, he told L'Equipe: "To me it is over.

"I don't want to hear anymore about the January transfer market. I told people who called me that I would not move.
"I just want to do everything to help Wigan survive and find again Les Bleus as soon as possible."
