Nuremberg fined after fans storm pitch

Bundesliga side Nuremberg says its will accept a ?100,000 ($132,000) fine from the German football federation after its fans descended onto the pitch to threaten rival supporters after a German Cup game.
Around 100 Nuremberg fans climbed barricades to gather before the visiting supporters' block after Nuremberg's 1-0 loss to local rival and second-division side Greuther Fuerth on Dec. 20.
Nuremberg director Martin Bader says the club is not going to appeal the fine, and that while the sum is ''high,'' it was important to avoid having supporters banned or partially banned from future games.
