Norwich loses again in Premier League

NORWICH, England (AP) Salomon Rondon struck early in the second half to give West Bromwich Albion a 1-0 victory at Norwich on Saturday in the Premier League.

The Baggies' record signing scored less than a minute after the interval at Carrow Road. Saido Berahino was freed down the right and played in James McLean, whose cross was nodded home by Rondon.

Looking to bounce back from a 6-2 thrashing at Newcastle, Norwich instead slipped to its third straight league defeat. The Canaries are hovering near the relegation zone with nine points from 10 games.

West Brom is in the top half of the table with 14 points from 10 games.
