NASL lands Under Armour as match ball supplier

The North American Soccer League (NASL), the second division of US football, has signed a partnership deal with sportswear brand Under Armour.

The deal will see NASL clubs use a custom-designed Under Armour ball during league games, training sessions and community activities.

The ball will also be available to buy through NASL retailers, and marks the first time Under Armour have supplied an official match ball to a league.

The NASL is the second tier of the North American football pyramid, and the 2016 season begins next month, with New York Cosmos looking to defend their title.
