AC Milan playmaker Kaka is looking forward to Sunday's clash with Serie A table-toppers Juventus, believing the Rossoneri can take three points from the match.

Clarence Seedorf's side go into the game on the back on two wins in the Italian top flight, with a 1-0 UEFA Champions League defeat to with Atletico Madrid sandwiched in between.

Despite a poor season - with the Rossoneri sitting in ninth in the table, a massive 31 points behind Juve - Kaka believes the hosts can prevail in the San Siro.

He told Sky Sport Italia: "The game against Juventus is a derby of Italy, an international derby, games that are felt deeply by us as players, by you in the media and by the fans.

"All week you live waiting for this derby. We hope to be able to write another small page in the history of Milan, to say: 'We played a great match against a great team'.

"For us, the three points are very important for the table but also on an emotional level and for our growth.

"To beat Juve would give us a great boost for the end of the season. This Juventus is very strong, they have great talent and are doing well."

The Brazilian playmaker says things have improved under Seedorf's stewardship after the former player took over in January following Massimiliano Allegri's dismissal.

"Clarence Seedorf? Now it is a good moment, we can see the light. We are on the right track," he added.

"He has his own way and is very particular. He has taken a bit of everything and now has his own style, he is trying got put into practice his own philosophy and his work.

"I am a person who has trust for the relationship that we have."

Kaka also praised Mario Balotelli, who was forced off during the Champions League defeat against Atletico, and believes they can win in Spain to reach the quarter-finals of the elite competition.

"Mario Balotelli can make AC Milan's history, but also the Italian national team and international football's ones," he said.

"He is a prodigy, he has to learn to consolidate himself but he will do it. I have a good relationship with Balotelli, we joke, we play a lot, I like it and he is growing a lot.

"The return match against Atletico Madrid? We can win, although it will be difficult. And next year we can get back to winning something."
