"I can understand his concerns on the financial front but I still believe we need a bit of pace out wide, a target man and another type of option in attack. "That would be ideal but whether that can happen is another thing. "Look what coming here did for Jody and Fran. And look at the players Dundee United have given a stage for and they have moved on to the Championship. "I'm hoping that sort of thing can help us attract players. I'd hope the guys wouldn't have come here if they weren't interested in signing. So now it's about us trying to make it happen."
