Hammond: No favours to Wolves

Brighton midfielder Dean Hammond has warned Wolves that they will not be given an easy ride as they scrap for their Championship lives.

Dean Saunders' side must beat the Seagulls to stand any chance of avoiding successive relegations, but Hammond has insisted that Albion - who are all but guaranteed to finish fourth - will not be taking things easy ahead of their play-off campaign.

Gus Poyet's side are unbeaten at the Amex in league games this calendar year and the on-loan midfielder does not want that run to end.

He told the Brighton Argus: "We enjoy playing at home at the moment. It's the last game at home of the official season so we want to end well in front of our fans.

"It's going to be a full house and a difficult game, because Wolves have got to win to stay up, so it will be interesting.

"We are on a good run of form. We'd like to stay unbeaten, finish the season with a win and then we will go with massive confidence."
