Godoy Cruz moves up to fifth place

Godoy Cruz moved up to fifth in the Apertura after a 2-0 win over San Lorenzo.

Leonardo Sigali opened the scoring five minutes before half-time with Ruben Ramirez sealing victory in the 61st minute.

While Boca Juniors are five points clear at the top of the table, victory takes Godoy Cruz to within three points of Atletico Raffaela in second.

Arsenal Sarandi moved into mid-table when they came from 1-0 down to record a 2-1 win over Union Santa Fe.

Paulo Rosales put the visitors ahead with a seventh-minute penalty only for Christian Trombetta equalised 13 minutes later.

Mauro Obolo then scored the winning goal with nine minutes left.

Banfield climbed off the bottom of the table as they claimed just their second win of the season, beating Newell's Old Boys 2-0.

Facundo Ferreira scored both goals, putting the hosts ahead in the 54th minute before sealing victory 17 minutes from time.
