The 34-year-old admitted last week that he was facing an uncertain future after slipping down the pecking order and spending much of his time on the bench.
This has reportedly alerted other clubs to his possible availability with Sky Sports reporting that the Premier League trio and the Old Firm rivals all monitoring his situation at the Reebok.
But whilst Bolton would consider selling him this month, it is not believed that they would entertain a loan deal - which most of the clubs interested would seem to prefer.
Davies's current deal at the Reebok Stadium is due to expire at the end of the season.
