The Chicago Fire has signed Dutch forward Collins John, a free
agent and former striker for Fulham.
The 24-year-old John began his professional career in 2002
with FC Twente, scoring 11 goals in 35 games before being sold to
Fulham FC in January 2004.
He scored 20 goals in 95 games for Fulham from 2004-07, and
led the team with 11 goals during the 2004-05 season.
John later played for Leceister City and Watford FC, as well
as NEC Nijimegen, before signing with K.S.V. Roselare in Belgium in
2009.
