Celtic striker Samaras in squad for Greece
Greece coach Fernando Santos included Celtic striker Georgios Samaras into his preliminary European Championship squad on Thursday, along with 12 other foreign-based players.
Santos summoned the 27-year-old Samaras before Greece's squad head for a training camp in Austria ahead of the tournament in Poland and Ukraine next month.
Samaras scored one goal in eight qualifying appearances.
Greece will play Armenia and Slovenia in friendly matches this month before taking on Euro 2012 opponents Poland, Russia and the Czech Republic in Group A.
