Carrico set for Sevilla switch
Sochaux winger Ryad Boudebouz says that he would be open to the possibility of a move to Southampton, following apparent interest from the Premier League side.
Reports in France have claimed that Mauricio Pochettino is keen on securing the 23-year old's signature after Saints scouts watched him in action against Auxerre last season.
The Algerian international was linked with a switch to Liverpool last summer, but with just one year remaining on his contract, he says he is will assess his options.
"I have a contract until 2014 here so let's see what the club will say, I am open to talk," Boudebouz told SkySports.com.
"My dream has always been to play in England or Spain.
"To be linked with Southampton is interesting; it is everyone's dream to be linked with good teams in big leagues in Europe.
"Southampton has a good history in the Premier League but I have a contract with Sochaux who is like Southampton in France."
The 24-year-old, who can play at centre-half or in midfield, has arrived in Spain and is due to undergo a medical with Primera Division side Sevilla on Tuesday.
Carrico made just three Premier League appearances for relegated Reading after joining the club from Sporting in January, agreeing a contract until the summer of 2015 with the Royals.
Sevilla announced on their website that they had the option to buy Carrico following his loan spell and that, if all goes well, the player will be presented to the media on Wednesday alongside new signings Carlos Bacca and Jairo Samperio.
