Brazil coach Mano Menezes says Argentina is the favorite to win next month's Copa America.
Menezes says Argentina will have an edge over Brazil because it is the host of the South American competition, which is held July 1-24.
He says home-field advantage will play a big role, and Argentina ''will be the favorite in the Copa America just as Brazil will be the favorite in the World Cup'' it will host in 2014.
Menezes made the comment on Monday as players reported for physical exams in Rio de Janeiro. The Brazilian squad will travel to Buenos Aires on Tuesday.

Brazil will try to win its third straight Copa America title. It won the last two over Argentina.
