Barcelona are much more than 'MSN', claims Messi

Barcelona's success is down to more than just their star forwards, according to Lionel Messi.

Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez have scored 106 goals between them this season as Barca chase a treble for the second season running.

A 5-1 aggregate victory over Arsenal put the holders in the last eight of the Champions League, with the 'MSN' front three sharing the goals.

Luis Enrique's side are unbeaten since October, hold an eight-point lead in La Liga and play Sevilla in the Copa del Rey final in May.

Messi said: "I don't think Barcelona depends on the three up front. We have a very broad squad that is much more than three players.

"Barcelona has impressive players so there is no need to depend on just three. We try to do our best for the team, to contribute offensively and defensively, so I don't think the team just depends on us."
