Wolves reassign rookie Patton to G League

The Minnesota Timberwolves reassigned Justin Patton to their G League affiliate Monday, ending the rookie's brief NBA stint.

Patton was called up to Minnesota on Feb. 12 with the Wolves preparing for the All-Star Game and the G League on hiatus as well, but did not appear in any games.

The 16th overall pick in the 2017 draft out of Creighton, Patton is averaging 11.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in 25 games with the Iowa Wolves this season.
