Wild Prospect Tracker: Feb. 19 edition

Gustav Olofsson, D, Iowa Wild (AHL)

The 21-year-old Olofsson tallied four assists this past week, including two in the Iowa Wild's 4-2 victory over Grand Rapids last Friday. Olofsson, a 6-foot-3, 197-pound defenseman, also assisted on Iowa's first two goals in its 4-3 loss Saturday to Grand Rapids.

After an injury kept him out for the entire 2014-15 season, Olofsson has two goals, 15 assists and a minus-9 rating in 49 games for Iowa this season. The Boras, Sweden, native was Minnesota's second-round draft pick in 2013. He played the 2013-14 season for Colorado College before joining the organization in 2014.

Christoph Bertschy, RW, Iowa

Bertschy, 21, tied the game in Friday's win against Grand Rapids with a power-play goal in the first period. He assisted on Iowa's second goal and scored Iowa's fourth goal early in the second period.

The Fribourg, Switzerland, native has nine goals, 19 assists, and a minus-6 rating in 49 games for Iowa this season, his first with the organization. The former sixth-round draft pick in 2012 made his NHL debut Nov. 7 when the Wild played Tampa Bay.

Tanner Faith, D, Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL

Faith, 20, recorded a goal, four assists and a plus-4 rating in four games this past week, scoring his first WHL power-play goal as his team went 4-0. He has three goals, 21 assists and a minus-9 rating in 58 games for the Warriors the season. The team is 29-21-7 and in position to make the WHL playoffs.

Faith, a Terrace, British Columbia, native, was Minnesota's fifth-round draft pick in 2014. The 6-foot-4, 219-pound defenseman has played in the WHL for the past five seasons, tallying six goals, 33 assists and a minus-13 rating.

Sin Bin

Joe Finley, D, Iowa

Finley had a minus-2 rating this past week, including a minus-2 rating in Iowa's 4-3 loss Saturday. The 28-year-old Edina, Minn., native has three points and a plus-1 rating in 35 games this season.

John Draeger, D, Michigan State (Big Ten)

The 22-year-old Edina, Minn., native had a minus-3 rating as the Spartans lost and tied against Penn State. Draeger, a third-round draft pick in 2012, has seven points and a minus-15 rating in his senior season.

Kaapo Kahkonen, G, Blues (SM-Liiga)

Kahkonen, a 19-year-old Helskinki, Finland, native, allowed four goals on two shots in a loss Wednesday. However, the Wild's fourth-round pick in 2014 ranks second in Liiga among rookie goaltenders in save percentage and goals allowed average.
