When worlds collide: Manziel, LeBron meet
Johnny Manziel recently swore off Twitter and said he was pulling back on his social media exposure.
Well, if there's anything that could pull someone out of "social media retirement," it's probably meeting the best athlete in the world.
Using a loophole in his Twitter-hiatus, Manziel posted pictures to his Instagram account of his encounter with LeBron James.
Manziel met the Miami Heat forward on Sunday when Miami was in San Antonio to face the Spurs, thus continuing Manziel's NBA tour this offseason where it seems he's at every big game that takes place in the state of Texas.
"I swear @kingjames is my dude I swear and tell 'em #love #mydog," Manziel commented along with the pictures.
Another picture posted to the account feature James with some of Manziel's friends, which further confirms that there's not many jobs in the world right now better than being a part of Johnny Football's posse.
Manziel and his group took in the game from a suite at the AT&T Center where, unfortunately, they did not get to see James play that night. James was held out of the game, along with Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers, but the Heat did pull off a 88-86 win after a last-second Chris Bosh 3-pointer.
At the rate Manziel's fame is growing, it might not be too long before he finds himself level with James in terms of celebrity ... if it's not there already.
Man, it's good to be a Heisman Trophy winner.
