Vegas says Suns to be NBA's third worst, but one writer sees much different future

The Las Vegas Superbook lists the Suns' win total prediction over/under at 26.5. That is third-worst for the upcoming NBA season, behind only the Lakers (24.5) and Nets (20.5).

But Rob Perez of FOX Sports has a much different take on how the Suns' 2016-17 season will play out: "Phoenix isn't just going to go over the predicted season win total, it'll be trotting on to the Oracle Arena court for Game 1 of the Western Conference playoffs ..."

That's right, Perez sees the playoffs, as the No. 8 seed, in the Suns' immediate future. Here is his explanation:
