Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer is spending his offseason kicking back, relaxing and bonefishing in the Bahamas with his son. And you can join him.

Well, not physically, but Urb's bonefishing adventure will be featured on Gridiron Outdoors this week on Outdoor Channel.

The episode, which debuts Friday, Jan. 31, gives a glimpse of Meyer's off-the-field life, as he spends his 49th birthday unplugged from society on a fishing trip to the Abacos Islands with his son Nate.

As the trailer indicates, this is must-see TV:

"With coaching from professional outdoorsman and major college/pro quarterback Pawlawski and local guide Maitland 'Bonefish Dundee' Lowe, failure is not an option, although Meyer's 14-year-old son, Nate, goes to the final gun before tasting victory."

The show's host, Mike Pawlawski, sits down with Meyer for a candid one-on-one interview about the "Three F's" (fishing, football and family) and the parallels between them. Meyer candidly talks about what he looks for in recruits and why his approach is so successful, and gives insight on preparing his players for each season.

You can catch Meyer's adventure on the Outdoor Channel Friday at 10:30 p.m. Re-runs of the show will be played Saturday, Feb. 1 at both 7:30 a.m. and 8 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 3 at 10:30 a.m., all times EST.
