INDIANAPOLIS -- UCLA defensive end Cassius Marsh spent time preparing for the NFL Scouting Combine with his former teammate Anthony Barr in Los Angeles.

Marsh, who measured in at 6-foot-4, 253 pounds, is projected to be a mid-round pick but believes he will prove himself as a great athlete in front of all 32 general managers and head coaches. He noted that his time with Barr added an element of comfort to the daily grind in the gym.

"Working together with Anthony Barr has been great," Marsh said. I've been with him the past four years and if I ever need anything he'€™s always there.

"I feel that it brings a comfort to the workout when you see somebody you know and someone you care for. It just makes it feel like home and it was a lot of fun."

Marsh was an effective player for UCLA last season racking up six sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss. He was also used as a weapon on offense on occasion, scoring two touchdowns.
