The Minnesota Twins announced a pair of September call-ups on Tuesday as the team will recall right-hander Luis Perdomo and infielder Eduardo Escobar from Triple-A Rochester. Both players will be in uniform for Tuesday’s game in Chicago against the White Sox.

Additionally, Red Wings manager Gene Glynn will also join Minnesota for the remainder of the season as an additional coach.

Perdomo made five relief appearances with the Twins this season after beginning the year at Double-A New Britain. In 19 games with Rochester, he had a 2.43 ERA out of the bullpen.

Escobar was acquired from the White Sox in a trade for left-hander Francisco Liriano in late July. The 23-year-old Escobar spent part of the season with Chicago, playing in 36 games. He batted .207/.281/.276 wit three RBI in 87 at-bats in the majors this year.
