Timberwolves top NBA in double-digit scorers
One thing has been certain throughout the Minnesota Timberwolves’ entire 2017-18 campaign – everyone on the team can score the basketball.
Jimmy Butler (22.4 points per game), Karl-Anthony Towns (20.2) and Andrew Wiggins (17.5) lead the way, but Minnesota’s Jeff Teague (13.1), Taj Gibson (12.4) and Jamal Crawford (10.1) make it six Wolves players to average double digits.
Out of the Timberwolves’ 61 games this season, they’ve had at least five players score double-digit points 46 times. That’s the most among any team in the NBA.

It was a big deal last season when the Timberwolves snapped a franchise record and scored 100+ points in 12 straight games, topping the 11-game run by the Tom Gugliotta-led Timberwolves in 1997-98.
But this year, the Timberwolves have quietly surpassed that mark. They’ve scored 100+ points in 14 straight contests, good for the best run in franchise history and the longest active streak in the NBA.
