The Texas Longhorns Are the Titanic

You know you really hate Texas when someone thinks, "You know, the Texas Longhorns remind me of the movie Titanic." Then you splice all the highlights together -- including Colt McCoy getting hit by Marcel Dareus just as the Titanic hits the iceberg -- and it's a perfect fit.
Even Texas fans will think this is funny.
I think.
It's amazing how similar the Texas Longhorns are after firing Mack Brown as the Michigan Wolverines and Tennessee Vols were after firing their own iconic national championship winning coach. Remember that Michigan and Tennessee both floundered for a long time. Indeed, the only school to ever fire a coach with a .750 winning percentage and replace him with someone who wins at a higher level is Florida State in the transition from Bobby Bowden to Jimbo Fisher. And that might be an unfair comparison since Jimbo was running things in Tallahassee for a couple of years before Bowden officially stepped down.
So, yep, right now Texas is the Titanic.
Will Charlie Strong make it on the lifeboats? It's starting to look like the answer is no.
