Sooners O-Line to be tested vs. Tulsa

Sooners O-Line to be tested vs. Tulsa

Tulsa's defense hasn't been great so far this season through two games, but neither has Oklahoma's offensive line.

OU quarterback Baker Mayfield was running for his life most of the game against Tennessee last week and against Akron, the offensive line didn't impress.

Now, senior Ty Darlington and Nila Kasitati are dealing with injuries. Both missed practice earlier in the week and it's unknown if either will play against the Hurricane Saturday in Norman.

Meanwhile, OU's depth on the offensive line isn't great. Behind Darlington and Kasitati is a lot of inexperience. Redshirt freshman Alex Dalton could get a chance if Kasitati sits out and Erick Wren, a walk-on, is listed as the second team center behind Darlington. Of course, left guard Jonathan Alvarez could move to center leaving playing time for junior Jamal Danley or senior Derek Farniok.
