Saturday's World Cup event cancelled by gusty winds

LAHTI, Finland (AP) The Saturday night team ski jumping event on the Lahti HS-130 hill in Finland was cancelled due to unfavorable wind conditions.
The hill was buffeted by gusty winds.
''We cannot risk the health of the athletes,'' a spokesman for the organization said.
On Friday, an individual competition was held, won by Austria's Michael Hayboeck.

A second individual competition is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
