Sam Darnold changed flight to throw for teammate's Pro Day
A good teammate brings you food when you're sick. A great teammate changes a travel itinerary to fly across the country early to throw at a rescheduled Pro Day.
Former USC quarterback Sam Darnold is a great teammate.
The projected number one overall selection was in Cleveland visiting with the Browns-- who own the top pick-- Wednesday and caught an early flight back to Los Angeles in order to throw for his former running back Ronald Jones II in front of scouts Thursday.

Jones, who is also projected as a potential first-round pick, rescheduled his workout after suffering a hamstring injury that kept him from fully participating in USC's normal Pro Day in March. The only event he did take part in? Running routes and catching passes from Darnold.
The NFL Draft begins April 27.
