Salcedo, Torres named in Mexico Under-21 squad for Central American Games

Real Salt Lake defender Carlos Salcedo and former Chivas USA striker Erick "Cubo" Torres have both been included to represent Mexico in the Central American and Caribbean Games to begin on Nov. 14.
The event is one of the stepping stones in preparation for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and, as such, El Tri's squad is made up of Under-21 players.
Other notable names included are 2011 Under-17 World Cup winners Marco Bueno, Antonio Briseno and Jonathan Espericueta, as well as Club América's top striker prospect Martin Zuniga.
The squad will be coached by Raul "Potro" Gutierrez and will meet up in Mexico City on Nov. 9 before heading to the site of the games in Veracruz.
Mexico has been drawn in Group A for the first stage of the competition, alongside Jamaica, El Salvador and Honduras.
