Mark Rogers is having quite the month.
First, the right-hander has taken advantage of another chance at pitching in the big leagues, now he's becoming a father for the first time.
Returning home to Arizona for the birth of his first child, Rogers was placed on the paternity list by the Brewers on Monday.
The move allows Milwaukee to add an extra bat to its bench for two days, as the club recalled infielder Jeff Bianchi from Triple-A Nashville.
Rogers will still make his scheduled start against Colorado on Wednesday.
Bianchi, 25, made his major league debut on July 13, but went hitless in 12 at bats with the Brewers before being optioned back to Nashville on July 26.
