Rickard Rakell's Player Profile
Rickard Rakell #67:
Rickard, aka "Ricky", Rakell is one of the newer faces to the Anaheim Ducks program. Drafted in 2011, the twenty-one year old from Sweden made his NHL debut the very next season in 2012. Since then, he has played in thirty games, including four playoff games. When he isn't practicing his hockey skills, Rakell is known for his great sense of humor. For example, this Halloween, the young center gave his Instagram followers a laugh when he ditched his hockey gear to dress up as the main characters of the hit film Dumb and Dumber with fellow teammate and Swede, William Karlsson. When interviewed by the Ducks Off the Ice reporter, Adam Brady, Rakell continued to show his humorous side by stating that one of his favorite movies was the comedy, Step Brothers and that he also enjoyed watching Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory on TV. Later in that same interview, Ricky went on to disclose one of his secret talents, ping pong! Be sure to look out for this up-and-coming star during Ducks hockey on FOX Sports San Diego.
