Report: Texas Tech, Texas A&M have 'mutual interest' in renewing rivalry
Texas hasn't seemed interested in playing Texas A&M again in the near future, but another school in the Lone Star State might be.
According to Kirk Bohls of the Austin American-Statesman, Texas Tech and Texas A&M have a mutual interest in renewing its rivalry on the football field.
@mattywatty01 @doug_keegan Hocutt said he has spoken with A&M AD Eric Hyman, who "is open to the idea" of playing.

The century-old traditional Thanksgiving week game against the Longhorns was the annual headliner in Texas, but the in-state rivalry with the Red Raiders was just as heated before the Aggies left for the SEC in 2012.
Texas has a lopsided 76-37-5 series lead over Texas A&M, but Aggies have a much tighter battle against Texas Tech with 37-32-1 advantage.
