Plot twist: Rays' Archer catches then throws away a fan's blown kiss

Tampa Bay Rays righty Chris Archer has been absolutely thrashing opposing batters this season and he recently broke an admirer's heart, too.

So close. And then on Sunday Archer decimated the Mariners in a 7-inning, 11 strikeout masterpiece, becoming the first pitcher in over 100 years to record three straight double-digit strikeouts, zero-walks performances.

As for the fan whose gesture was cast aside? He came on a little too strong. First comes cheering, then friendly chatter, then, before you know it, you can become Chris Archer's cold tub buddy:
