Patriots fan hopes to raise money to pay off team's $1 million fine

This injustice apparently will not stand.

One New England Patriots fan isn't happy that quarterback Tom Brady was suspended four games on Monday for his role in the Deflategate scandal. He also isn't pleased his team has to fork over a $1 million fine.

He's so upset that he set up a Gofundme page dedicated to raising money to help pay off that fine.

So says the page:

"We obviously know we won't reach One Million Dollars, however we do believe the fine is bulls**t and want to help anyway we can.  So whatever is donated will be donated to the New England Patriots in help with the fine!"

That's quite generous. After all, a team estimated by Forbes to be worth $2.6 billion in 2014 needs all the help it can get. So would a quarterback who signed a three-year deal with $27 million, according to spotrac.com.

It's especially generous coming from someone in the state of Massachusetts, a place the Boston Globe reported in late 2014 had an alarmingly growing population of homeless people.

Here's hoping the Patriots get the money they need.
