The Indiana Pacers made a couple cuts on Sunday evening to reach the NBA's 15-man regular-season roster limit in advance of their opener against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

The Pacers announced that they have waived forward Jeremy Evans and guard Julyan Stone. Evans appeared in two preseason games and did not score. Stone played in five games, scoring one point while averaging two rebounds per game.

Evans, a veteran of 249 NBA games, has averaged 10.5 minutes and 3.5 points per game over six seasons for the Mavericks and Utah Jazz. The Pacers acquired him from Dallas in a trade on July 7.
