Pacers send Christmas, Whittington back to Fort Wayne

The Indiana Pacers announced Friday they have assigned forward Rakeem Christmas and center Shayne Whittington to their affiliate in the NBA's Development League, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Whittington has played in two games for the Pacers this season, while Christmas has not yet entered a game.

Whittington is averaging 11.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game in 13 games with the Mad Ants. Christmas has played 17 games for Fort Wayne, averaging 16.9 points and 8.4 rebounds.
