Oklahoma RB Perine racks up another honor

Oklahoma running back was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 201 yards against Texas Tech.

Perine was also named the winner of the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week.

Perine added four touchdowns in the 63-27 win over the Red Raiders.

The Oklahoma sophomore is one of five finalists for the Earl Campbell Award which goes to the top offensive player born in the state of Texas or played a Texas-based school.

Perine is from Pflugerville, Texas.
