Oklahoma LB Bond returns, finally happy and healthy

Linebacker Devante Bond missed four games with an ankle sprain but returned Saturday against Iowa State and says he's healthy heading into the game this week at Baylor.

"It definitely stunk," Bond said to The Oklahoma about missing the past four games. "I wish I could have been out there with my teammates. I went out a couple times trying, but it just wasn't happening. I was trying, but it wasn't ready. I was trying to be a little soldier.

"I'm just trying to keep staying in the training room, make sure it's healthy. I'm going to keep doing what I've got to do to stay on the field."
