Miller snares comebacker between his legs
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- As Shelby Miller on Friday continued to build himself up for the start of the regular season he was in mid-season form fielding his position.
Miller ended the fourth inning when he snared a bullet of a comebacker between his legs and with his back to home plate.
Did @ShelbyMiller19 just make the best play of all time by a pitcher? #SCTop10

The Indians' Robbie Grossman wasn't fooled by Miller's changeup and scalded it back up the middle. Miller was completing his follow-through and stuck his glove down between his legs. The ball found it more than the other way around.
"I just tried to put a glove on the ball and got lucky" Miller said. "That happens every once in a while."

Miller held the Indians to one run on three hits in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out four in his second-to-last start before the regular season.
"That last start is about tuning it all in together and get ready for the season," he said. "I'm very ready for the season to start. I'm excited. We should have a fun team, a fun year."
