Magic reportedly acquire Shabazz Napier from Heat for protected pick
The Orlando Magic have reportedly added depth to their backcourt, swinging a deal with the Miami Heat for point guard Shabazz Napier.
According to FOX Sports 1 NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Orlando will send a protected second-round draft pick to Miami in the trade.
Napier, a first-round selection in the 2014 draft, averaged 5.1 points per game for Miami last season.
Napier will likely fill a reserve role for the Magic, who have Elfrid Payton as their starter and veteran C.J. Watson as a backup.
