Little Leaguer hits HR while mom gives interview about her cancer fight

Sometimes, the universe gives us a moment so perfect that it makes you believe in a larger plan.
The 2016 Little League World Series started this week, and on Friday, Iowa's JT Garcia stepped to the plate while his mother Jen gave an interview from the stands.
Jen is fighting pancreatic cancer, and her son's team has come together to offer emotional support to a member of their baseball family. The players wear purple bracelets bearing a Bible verse to honor Jen.
While she was explaining how much the support means to her, JT interrupted the interview by hitting a home run. Jen graciously looked to the interviewer, indicated that she was about to celebrate, then leaped to her feet to cheer for her son:
