Johnny Football...turncoat?
Over the course of just one season, Johnny Manziel has become the most intriguing football player in college football.
From superhero-type heroics on the field to winning the Heisman Trophy to making his personal life public to the world over social media, it seems that "Johnny Football" can not do any wrong these days.
That is, unless, you are caught flashing a "Hook 'Em Horns" sign at a concert in Austin, Texas ... you know ... the home of the Texas Longhorns.
Cameras caught Manziel throwing up double "Hook 'Em Horns" signs during a concert for rap artist Wale at Emo's East in Austin on Thursday night.
Manziel has been spending time with Wale this last week during his tours run through Texas. Manziel posted a video of the two playing basketball on his Twitter account earlier in the week during a stop in Dallas.
But, there's a big difference between videos of you playing basketball and pictures of the quarterback of Texas A&M throwing up the hand sign of their hated rival.
Manziel has stated before that he grew up a fan of the Texas Longhorns and that his dream was to one day play quarterback for UT.
Manziel is no stranger to controversial pictures popping up on the internet, such as the pictures of him holding a bottle of champagne at a Cotton Bowl after party, despite being underage, or holding a handful of cash at an Oklahoma Casino...but, at least in Texas, the hand sign picture might be the most difficult to explain, especially to diehard Aggie fans.
Now, let's see if Johnny Football can weave his magic again and escape from this mess ... like he did with Alabama.
