Jay Bruce reaches Reds milestone

Add another piece of Reds history to Jay Bruce's resume.

After seeing 14 pitches -€“ and fouling off seven of them -€“ in a first inning at-bat, Bruce came through with a base hit, his 1,000th as a Red.

Earlier this season, Bruce knocked out his 200th HR, so now he sits in some lofty company.
